Itinerary
Get really into Melbourne with a local and see what it’s truly about. Spend more time in the markets soaking up the culinary scene, artisan makers and the city’s overall vibe.

Continue partly by tram and by foot through laneways and arcades, past the graffiti street art scene and onto the big intersection for postcard views of Flinders Street Station, Federation Square, then nearby Spring Street for photos at the Hotel Windsor and the steps of Parliament House. On to the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens and Cook’s Cottage, the oldest dwelling in the country.

Afterwards we roll to the bayside to experience Beach Road and Victorian architecture down Kerferd Road. Albert Park’s Formula 1 circuit is where we do some tyre-warming (figuratively!) and see the man-made lake created in 1956 for the Olympic rowing team. Nearby theatres and iconic Luna Park are a gorgeous sight before pristine beaches in one of our richest suburbs show off rainbow-coloured, tiny heritage-listed huts. Hop on the beach for star jumps if you must, and enjoy panoramic bay views before winding back to your abode in the beautiful city of Melbourne you now know well.
