Itinerary
A great way to start is with a visit to the main town of Healesville and, around the corner, the Healesville Sanctuary. Here we’ll meet some of Australia’s cutest, most iconic creatures – kangaroos, koalas, wombats, Tassie devils, echidnas and more.

If you prefer, we may move straight onto fresh dairy-farm cheeses, straight from the source – try the 30-year-famous Persian feta soaked in Aussie olive oil with peppercorns.

Then we get into the wines. Everywhere in the valley is nearby now, so just down the road we’ll take in the breathtaking panorama at Domaine Chandon and enjoy a Pinot/Shiraz afterwards, followed by tenth-generation family-owned Dominique Portet for a delicious Cabernet or Rosé plus more tastings, with a break for lunch in heart of the valley (with a tasting if desired).​
How we wind up the day depends – our tours are tailored to you. We might finish at the famous, family-owned Yarra Valley Chocolaterie for a walk-through and a taste of all things chocolate (plus incredible ice-cream) or, if you want to try local gin, Four Pillars is a fantastic choice. From there we loop back through Healesville for a scenic mountain drive towards Melbourne, with a chance of spotting hopping kangaroos nearby.
