Privacy Policy
Personal information means anything that identifies you, such as your name, email address or phone number.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry. Our enquiry form appears on the home page and the contact page. It asks for:
-
your first and last name

your email address
-
your phone number
-
which tour or city you are interested in
-
your preferred travel date
-
how many adults and children are travelling
-
a message, in your own words
When you contact us directly. If you reach us by WhatsApp, Line, phone or email, we receive whatever you send us, including your phone number or email address.
When you pay. We send you a payment link for your deposit. Your payment is handled by the payment provider, through their own systems.
When you use this website. Our analytics and advertising tools, which count visits and show which advertisements led to an enquiry, collect information about your visit. They are listed below.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your enquiry, to plan and run your tour, to take payment, and to keep a record of your booking.
Who else handles your information
Wix hosts this website and our enquiry form, so what you send us is stored on Wix's systems.
Google Analytics and Google Ads record how the site is used and which advertisements lead to enquiries.
Microsoft Clarity creates a replay of your visit, including where you move, scroll and click.
Visitor Analytics reports visitor numbers and where visitors came from.
Where your information is stored
Your enquiry is stored on Wix's systems. The analytics and advertising services listed above are run by companies based outside Australia, so information about your visit may be stored or processed overseas, including in the United States.
Other tour suppliers. Some tours include an activity run by someone else, such as a wildlife park or a helicopter flight.
Where that applies, the supplier needs some of your details in order to provide it.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser saves. This website uses them so the services listed above can work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, parts of the site may not work properly.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as we need them for your booking, and after that for as long as our tax and accounting obligations require.
Getting a copy, correcting it, or deleting it
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email andy@southeasttouring.com and tell us what you need.
